i read on my engine this number : 103p000 is it possible ?? what is the origin of this engine type ?,

there is only one oïl filter on this engine ?? between the electric motor starter ( démarreur ) and the electric generator (dynamo) there is no thing, i don't find the metallic filter ?,

could you help me for this subject ?

The "103 P" engine is for "Fiat 1100 R" (1966/69)





and it doesn't have any metallic filter,



So, what model of 1100 do you have?

the model of fiat 1100 i have is : 103g (it is writing on the little plate of aluminium ) and the date on the paper is 11 november 1961

normaly the engine must be a 103h but i have the surprise of the other 103 p

i bough this car in belgium in a garage for old car ,a restoration was begin by the owner but this man died before the end .

i don't know anything else

this is why i dont have the good front bumper , i discover it is a bumper for a fiat 1100 d or R ..also , but not on the car , Inside as a replace part .

the carburettor is a 32 35 APATI and all the other parts of the engine are the same as 103 h' parts , the water pump , the dynamo , etc etc

the engine run well ..

i will do with it for the moment because find parts in France is very rare .

with a wrong engine. The good news are that the "103 P " engine has 3 CV more than the 103 H (53 vs 50)
